I most certainly will! Thanks.

I did enjoy the workshop because of the ideas of tension and reality in sexual tension in the time period. The things that yourself, Janet and Helen had to say were very illuminated about the genre right now. By the by, love your new cover.

Sooo glad you enjoyed the workshop, Maire (though now I'm in NY).

I'll be blogging more about the workshop (and others at RWA), but for those of you who are curious, here's the blurb I ran on my events page:

Saturday, August 2, 2008 ~ 8:30 AM
RWA Workshop
Writing the Hot Historical
Marriott Hotel, San Francisco

Everybody's doing it. Can we do it better? What works and what doesn't. With author Janet Mullany and agent Helen Breitwieser.

I loved doing it. What fun to be bouncing my thoughts over such smart, funny women, my agent Helen and my pal and partner in crime Janet.

And I got a lot out of it too -- because every time I give it I revamp my comments and review my thoughts, which really helps me think about what it IS I think I'm doing anyway, and what I might want to do next.

And Maire, if you're at RWA in DC next year, please come say hi.

I had a fabulous time at National, myself. Since, I am an aspiring historical writer, I loved the Beau Monde. Huge thanks to Kalen for doing such a great job. I so enjoyed the arms and costumes history. . . And I also, really enjoyed your workshop on I think the last day? You and Janet were awesome. So jealous of the fact you are in Berlin.

Oh excellent, Emily! Thanks! I wanted to show it off but I didn't know it was at your site. And I'll be handing them out at brunch this morning to some German readers and editors (which makes me feel very very writerly and international)... ;-}

It *is* a beautiful bookmark. And we proudly display it in our print portfolio. (Scroll to the third row.)

And glitter is my most favoritest color, too!
